Personal Pursuit?

Am I trying to 'find myself'? Am I 'soul searching'? It seems that life's journeys are all about playing Hide n Seek with one's souls and self. "I'm searching for my soul", "I'm finding my self." Yes, I purposely separated “myself” into 'my' and 'self'. The self, at least I view it as such, is a thing I have, able to be changed, vulnerable to damage, and without insurance. My self is in ceaseless need of help and repair. My self is prideful and in want of more. More everything. My self is sad, pathetic, and was lost, apparently. I found my self these past few years. I didn't know what do to with me, my self was so forlorn and... solemn. I added a little spice in my self's life. It helped a little, I think. My self is doing better now. Its not perfect yet, but its doing a lot better, thanks for asking. Am I still out to find my self? No, my self is found, it just needs a little growing up, that's all. Which ...

Prague, here I come!

Some know, some don't. So here I go explaining it. After Christmas, I will be traveling to Prague (that is in the Czech Republic, which is in Europe) to teach English as a foreign/second language. I did not exactly plan this out from the beginning. And God had a different plan from me, as well. Originally, a friend and I were looking for an adventure. Maybe a camping trip or hiking. Then we thought about going hiking across Europe! That would be an adventure! But then we realized how expensive it would be. Well, what if we could find a job in Europe? Well, what could we do? Speak English of course! So with the aid of the world wide web, we researched Europe, Prague, and then a language school called IITP right across the river from the Prague Castle. By February, we would be teaching, hopefully in Prague itself. Unfortunately, for many reasons, Zach will not be accompanying me. But I believe God, the ultimate trip planner, knew what He was doing.
